The EMAX AVAN Rush 2.5x1.9x3 was engineered from the ground up for 2.5-inch micro FPV builds. Starting from design constraints like RPM, airspeed, and required thrust, aerodynamic models were built to shape every aspect of the blade. A true 1.9" pitch throughout the blade gives a linear control feeling across the throttle band while still achieving high speeds — allowing for ease of flight and more precision. Highly cambered airfoils achieve high lift coefficients at high angles of attack, prolonging stall and allowing a higher blade angle while remaining efficient, giving you a wide flight envelope with great low-end responsiveness and high top-end speed.
A special Polycarbonate blend delivers exceptional durability. The material is tough and ductile to resist fracture in high-impact crashes. A thick blade root was designed to further increase durability. Most of the weight is centralized near the hub, creating a low moment of inertia of 1.24 g·cm² which makes for a very responsive prop. Our injection mold process is optimized to minimize bubbles in the plastic, increasing strength and maintaining superb balance out of the box.
